I don’t know about you, but I love SIMPLE recipes. I want big flavor and a pretty presentation but with minimal work. I love when I hear, “Yum, who made these?” at a party and I can flip my hair and take credit. I love this exchange even more when the effort I put in is was basically nonexistent and I get to astound my food admirers with the simplicity of the recipe (…or maybe pretend it was super difficult and time-consuming so I can look like I’m the mom that can “do it all”).
But of course, the holiday party scene is pretty nonexistent in 2020, which makes simple recipes even more of a must. I’m all about spreading some holiday magic with delicious and beautiful desserts, but I’m also all about relaxing on the couch. If you’re a mom like me, who likes instant gratification, the moms of Motherhood have collected some of the simplest recipes, that even your kids can help out with!
Happy Holidays & Bon Appetit!
Martha Stewart’s Popcorn Balls with Golden Raisins
A fun treat that you can also use to decorate your home with, these popcorn balls taste as good as they look. Now that’s a win-win.
Hershey's ROLO Pretzel Delights
These are legit one of the easiest little treats you can make, and they’re so, so good. Allergic to nuts? Swap out the pecan halves for festive red and green candies.
Christmas Crunch Mix by the BakerMama
I love a recipe that doesn’t require any baking! Simply combine lots of yumminess in a bowl, heat some other yumminess in the microwave, and combine for the simplest sweet treat. This is a great one to do with the kids.
Candy Cane Marshmallow Dippers by Lena Abraham, Delish
Add a little more magic to your hot chocolate with these adorable dippers. Big visual impact with minimal effort.
Oreo Cookie Christmas Ornaments from SugarHero
These adorable and easy-to-make cookies are also a super fun activity for the family. Simply dip and decorate. They’ll be (almost) too pretty to eat.
