YOUR APRIL BABY

YOUR APRIL BABY

Hey mama, happy April! If your baby’s birthday falls in this month, you are one lucky duck. Your little one is sure to be an optimistic, friendly, and curious thinker who brings sunshine everywhere they go.

Important Dates for your 2022 April Baby:

  • Your baby will graduate high school in 2040, and if they attend college, they’ll get their diploma in 2044.

  • Brace yourself, mama. That means your little one will start kindergarten in 2027!

  • The first election your baby votes in will be 2040.

  • And their 21st birthday will be celebrated in 2043!

  • Finally, to compare your 2022 babies to events that have happened in your lifetime, think about this. Your 2022 April baby was born:

50 years after the first scientific pocket calculator
was released by Hewlett-Packard. The HP-35 could perform trigonometry functions on top of traditional arithmetic. We take it for granted that our phones can do all that (& more!) but this was a big deal in 1972.
25 years after the premier of Buffy the Vampire Slayer
on WB Television Network. The show aired for seven seasons and was honored with 14 Emmy award nominations. More than your typical teen supernatural series, it was also named by Time magazine as one of the top 100 shows of all time.
8 years after the new One World Trade Center opened its doors
in New York City. It features a three-floor observation deck, known as the One World Observatory. In its first year, more than 4 million visitors came to pay their respects at the 9/11 memorial.

Personality Traits of your April Baby:

    • April babies are springtime babies, which means they possess a bright-eyed, positive outlook on the world that can’t be shaken. Your little one will always search for the sunny side of life, and their smile is contagious.
    • What will your April baby be when they grow up? The same UK study that pointed to specific careers for other birth months cited April as a jack-of-all trades, likely to pursue any career they’re drawn to. While it’s not a precise prediction, it strongly reflects the humble and intuitive nature of an April baby. They know themselves well, and they aren’t easily swayed by others. Your little one has a dream in mind, and they’ll go after it.
    • Many moms wish they could pick an April birthdate for their baby, according to a study on US first-time mothers. What makes spring so desirable? For one thing, your child will have a birthday in the middle of their peer group during school. Plus, if you have a newborn in April, you can worry less about the typical flu, and take your maternity leave in the summer.
    • An April baby makes friends for life! Between their happy-go-lucky attitude and their willingness to share and learn from others, kids in April tend to befriend people wherever they go. Prepare yourself for lots of playdates, mama!
    • And finally, your April baby is going to grow up knowing they are the most special, wonderful kid in the world – because they have you as a mom. Children born in April have a warmth and kindness that’s irreplaceable, so snuggle up and enjoy your little bundle of sunshine.
